Virtues!

The three chief virtues of a programmer are: Laziness, Impatience and Hubris.

Larry Wall (Programming Perl)

  • Laziness is the lack of desire to act or to work, to stretch one’s forces; tendency to rest, to do nothing.
  • Impatience: a restless desire for change and excitement.
  • Hubris is exaggerated pride or self-confidence often resulting in retribution.
  • I am a very good programmer then!
