I have never tried more than a few installs of windows as compared to the many linux installs I have done.
Recently had to fix up a friends system which runs vista home some edition.
What would have been a jiffy with linux ruined half my night. And that too without the help of my incompetence.
I can now attest firsthand to the title of the post.

Why else do you suppose I am here blogging about personal euphoria rather than mash up good old processor munching programs.
Some people might just shrug at the thought of a senseless personality who likes to move around places, who likes change and who sucks the life out of every minute of the day.
I pity myself for these things for in this you find a sense of despair that stems out of loneliness forced/ingrained.
Angelic face of yours may be taken away from my sight
Your sweet words may be years apart
Your touch unfelt by me
Your presence inevitably far but
Darling none can take what belongs to me – your heart.
I will forever live with your thoughts
in my mind..and love in my heart..sweetheart
I breathe your scent in the air I am breathing
I see ya in the clouds of the sky under the sun..
I promise I’ll send my love through the birds of the sky and pass
them through the tides of the oceans carry it in the arms of the wind..
Darling at dawn..
I’ll touch you with a gentle breeze in the night and again
I see your radiance in the moon that gleams with our passion in the sky
I reckon it only returns month and again to
look forward when both of us will walk hand in hand under her rays.
no matter what darling..
I always say one thing to myself(and now to you )
my love for you..
remains glued in my heart and..
I wonder’d what glue it my be
the answer was your name
Darling none can take what belongs to me – your heart.
I will forever live with your thoughts
in my mind..and love in my heart..sweetheart
with kisses and hugs more than the stars of the night sky
I remain forever yours and still..
I once wrote this to one of the loveliest creature I’ve ever known.
It seems Singh is gonna be Kinng again.
Technically speaking District Livestock farm of the animal husbandry in Kandal.
Started around 4 from home and reached the place after sometime with Anand, Deepak and Ram, Chetan was sleeping I guess, so he didn’t join us.
The size of the Jersey cows this time was disappointing.
If I am not mistaken there were Friesian cows too.
Last time (a couple of years ago) they looked like dinosaurs in miniature.
And sound a terrifying ‘moo’. Touching them is not for the faint hearted(believe me.)
They are mainly used here for diary and in the preservation of semen. Which would later be used for artificial insemination.
The last time we went to the lab there and found them preserving samples in straw like containers inside LN2 cylinders.
Have you ever touched LN2? They try to freeze your bone. If you stay at it you may find yourself breaking your fingers to bits.
All in all the vast expanse of the farm was good to see. The cows were pretty tolerant on the intrusion.
Photos are coming.
One would probably need some kind of permission to see this place but it’s worth the trouble.
Here goes:
The last time I remember entering a hair dresser’s was almost a year ago. To be precise July of 08 (The day still haunts me) just before my graduation.
Since then I have refused to get a haircut for many reasons, the prominent one being: Who cares?
It seems I have scared enough people with my hairstyle that they tried to talk me into getting a cut.
From all the aunties and their daughters, they want my hair to be cut.
Being who I’m (Stubborn and half-witted) it’s needless to say they couldn’t convince me.
Enter Ma:
Said she’ll pay me if I get my haircut.
Well, I’m a reasonable man. (You know that!)
You can imagine what came next.
The days of idle-roaming in Ooty are finally turning to be productive.
All it tooks was a GPS device and a friend to show you how.
lawgonji magnanimously lent me a GARMIN GPS 72 and his know-how.
If you’d like to paint your idleness with fun colors
head over here:

It’s pure fun, take my word for it.
Have always thought it was a bad idea to get recruited by companies developing proprietary solutions.
Alas! I climbed the bandwagon.
Now the offer hangs in the balance with the recession hitting home.
Clearly, one of the worst decisions of my life.
Am now on the look out for a job in the FOSS arena
I should have done that from the start.
Don’t know anyone to ask for sound career advice.
One would argue as to the entrepreneurial qualities one would have developed over the
years in a university but I was listening to Kurzweil, Norvig rather than Porter or Peters.
Not many people here would want to employ me.
Will be heading out these days to secure a developing job.
Starting from CBE.
Have figured out a few contigency plans:
BPO jobs- If the black president doesn’t kill it before I get to it.
Pro Musician- If I could get enough musical acumen.
Writer- When I write a pot-boiler with my experiences.
Politician- If I could manage to wear dhotis.
Terrorist
They seem to be giving some good advice.
Govt. Jobs – If I ever clear their irrelevant written tests.
Write a JobSearch engine – Will make me rich. The userbase is large.
Cheers to all fellow-hunters. Will be meeting some soon.
Been re-reading the finest by Rowling.
New vistas of truth reveal themselves at every read.
The world of magic amazes the wits out of me.
